The Feed-In-Tariff Subsidy for Government
The Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) introduced in April 2010 is a generous government subsidy which provides a payment of 43p per unit of electricity exported to the grid through domestic retrofit installations. Taking into account savings from electricity used directly in the house, the return on your investment is forecast to be about 8-11% on an investment of around £7000 to £14000, depending on the size of the installation.

Costs and Benefits
VICTERI provides an overall estimate of installation costs, likely income from FiT, and savings from avoiding the need to purchase electricity commerci ally in the usual way.

Referral to A Supplier
We discuss the options for suppliers and installers who will all be registered under the Microgeneration Registration Scheme (MRS), the government-accredited validation scheme. Following discussion we refer you to a supplier.
