• nylon brush seals are fitted into a channel cut in the window at the top, middle and bottom
  the right size of brush seal is inserted according to size of gap
• on the sides of the window new parting bead and staff beads with integrated brush strip are fitted
• new beading is painted to match the rest of the window
• the typical cost for draught proofing of sash windows is £150-£180 (inc materials) per window
  

Replacement of sash cords, furniture and other refurbishment work :

• £20 per cord or £70 to replace all four cords (when done at same time as draught proofing)
  
• refitting and adjustment - at £25 per hour plus materials
  
• fitting of replacement catches, stops and handles at up to £20 per window exclusive of materials
  
• minor and major filling, refitting and timber repair work, repainting, replacing panes at £25 per hour plus materials

• we can also provide floor board joint filling with sanding and varnishing

Draught proofing of skirting boards:

• we apply flexible filler to the gap between floor boards and skirting boards to stop draughts at a cost of £25 per hour plus materials costs (one room typically takes one to two hours to complete)
