ON THE WEEKEND of 11th - 12th June 2011, 15 Victorian and Edwardian houses opened their doors to the public, building on the success of Eco House Weekend 2010.

houseSituated in the neighbouring boroughs of Camden, Islington, Haringey and Hackney, they exemplify the best in recent eco- renovation practice and techniques.


Owners shared their experiences and offered guidance and advice on how you too can join the movement to cut carbon emissions in your home by 60% and more.

We found out about the simple steps you can take to make an impact on even the oldest of properties.
