We’re V.I.C.T.E.R.I.. The Victorian Terrace Energy Reduction Initiative, a team of three environmental consultants who live in Victorian terraces in the Highbury area,
• Who believe it shouldn’t be prohibitive to insulate our old houses, just because they don’t have cavity walls.
• Who believe that local networks of like-minded homeowners can make the process simpler, easier, quicker and cheaper, … and also be the key to satisfying nationwide demand.
WHY WE’RE BETTER TOGETHER
You have many energy-efficiency options at many prices - from extra loft insulation and draught proofing to secondary glazing and full wall insulation. Any intervention should, we believe, be part of a long-term plan to maximise the performance of your home. Now here’s the essence of the V.I.C.T.E.R.I. approach. A plan for one house in a terrace will be valid, with minor changes, for the other houses in the same terrace. So it makes great sense to work together.
